This week was a roller coaster of emotions. It started on wednesday when I was able to bowl the pro-am with three Detroit Lions players, Roy Williams, Terrence Holt and Brian Calhoun. All three guys were extremely cool and not bad bolwers either. Thursday was a very good day. I bowled very well in both the morning block and the night block to take the lead after the day was done. The lanes played pretty tight considering we were bowling on the cheetah pattern which is 35 ft. I used the Wrath for about 90% of the week and an Action for the other 10%. Both balls were drilled with weak pins to reduce the flare becuase I wanted to play the lanes as far right as I could go. Friday was a really up and down day. I had one really bad game in the first block which cost me alot of pins to the field since the scoring pace was really high. I was still in good shape sitting in third place heading into the final 9 games. The last block I bowled really well to stay in the top 5 heading into the final 3 games. Games 7 and 8 of the night block is what cost me a chance at making the show. I failed to make the big move left that I needed to make and I bowled two my worst games of the tournament. It was really hard for me to make that drastic of a move because I didn't have to do it at all during the rest of the week. This is something that I will learn from and even though it was a terrible end to the week I took alot out of it and hopefully not make that mistake again.
